Refereed Papers

"I need to publish a paper in a Proceedings or a Journal, to justify to my boss the cost of attending a conference!"

Fortunately, you can do that too. iDMAc will accept paper submissions until 15 January 2004. Authors will be notified of acceptance by 10 February 2004. The papers should:

a) Report on the results of creative or research projects that explore new areas of media design, media tools or media education.
b) Adequately cite related work, to indicate the authors' awareness of the state of the art and the context of the reported project;
c) Not have been submitted for publication elsewhere.

Papers should conform in style to the conform to the IEEE conference paper format (see http://www.ieee.org/portal/cms_docs/pubs/confpubcenter/pdfs/samplems.pdf), and should be submitted in PDF format.

The Proceedings of iDMAc 2004 will appear in electronic form on the iDMAa website (http://www.idmaa.org/.)

SUBMISSION: Send the paper, in PDF form, to [email protected] by 15 January 2004. If the paper is accepted, we will provide you with the necessary copyright release materials.

If your paper is accepted, you will be assigned an Author's Table at the iDMAa buffet banquet. A sign will make known the fact that you're sitting there. Those who wish to discuss your paper with you, can bring their food and chat with you. iDMAa is about conversation rather than presentation.
