iDMAa IDEAS - AN EXHIBITION OF CREATIVE WORK

iDMAa IDEAS is a showcase for creative projects and works of art that reflect novel approaches to the relationship between media tools and content. The exhibition is something between an art gallery and a playroom, with some resemblances to a ward for brilliantly unstable people, iDMAa IDEAS is a place to exchange ideas with creative people and to show them your most innovative and artistic experiments and images.

Projects already planned for iDMAa IDEAS include a novel approach to improvisational performance with audience members, experiments in building interactive toys for adults, and a Swedish experiment in the use of PDAs for fantasy games.

We will consider:

  • Framed wall hung images
  • sculptural works
  • desktop interactive works
  • self contained web works
  • time based work (video, animation, stop action)
  • installation, both interactive and not
  • performance
  • sound installations

Special Note: Although we encourage complex and innovative constructs, participants will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and labor.
