The River Club Gallery, located on the Historic Savannah Riverfront, will exhibit the best work by institutions participating in the 6th iDMAa conference.
The iDMAa Student Showcase is a great opportunity for digital media and arts programs to show off their programs by highlighting the best works created by students who are pushing the conceptual and technical boundaries of art.
The Showcase is open to projects in all digital medias including individual student art pieces and class projects; from 2D and 3D art to sculpture, video or interactive installations, creative strategies, reels, ... anything that reflects your student's, and your program's, creative accomplishments.
We encourage you (as an institutional representative) to apply to participate in this showcase. If you would like to showcase your program and students at the 2008 iDMAa conference in November, go to Showcase Submissions to start the process. If you have any questions about the Showcase, contact Cher Cornett, cornettc@etsu.edu. The deadline for submission is October 1, 2008.
There will be several $100 awards given to outstanding student work or collaborative projects to be selected by members of the iDMAa advisory board. Students whose work has been chosen for exhibition are encouraged to attend the conference and may attend the conference at the student rate of $89.00. Space for this showcase is limited, so please apply early.
Special Note:
Although we encourage complex and innovative installations, participants are responsible for providing all
necessary equipment and labor. We are not responsible for damage to work during shipping and we recommend you
purchase shipping insurance.
