With the theme of “Ideas for the Future,” we seek proposals for presentations in either of these two forms: Thought Pieces and Papers. All submissions must be received by September 19, 2008.
Thought Pieces invite participants to choose the medium that best conveys their ideas for the future of digital media (words, pictures, sounds, whatever). Thought Pieces should be short (no more than 3000 words or 4 minutes). Contact: Scott Shamp (sshamp@uga.edu)
Papers offer a more traditional opportunity for presentation of ideas, positions, and research. Papers will be reviewed for possible publication in the conference proceedings of iDMAa Journal. Send abstracts (250 to 500 words) to Jeff Ritchie (ritchie@lvc.edu)

All abstracts will be refereed for acceptance and should:
Submit your abstract online as a word document (file should use .doc extension) by September 19. All authors participating in the conference will have their abstract posted in the online conference proceedings. Authors will be notified via email of acceptance by approximately September 25, 2008 and should confirm attendance by October 1. All accepted papers must be sent to iDMAa in their final form (word document using your last name in the filename) by November 1 to be reviewed for possible publication in The Journal of the International Digital Media and Arts Association.
